A graduate of the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, with a degree in Photography, Heidi Robertson’s “passion for pictures” began at age twelve. Having apprenticed with wedding and portrait studios and after working for commercial photography studios, she opened Images by Heidi in 1993. Her work includes portraiture, commercial photography, travel/landscape photography, and fine art images. Heidi’s area of expertise includes portrait photography of families and children. She captures the expressions of children at play, the awe of new parents, the joy of families, and the essence of important moments at special events and memory making occasions. A native of
New Jersey with serious wanderlust, she has explored the beauty of rural Sussex County during the changes of the seasons. Her travels throughout the US, Europe and South America, have captured the landscape and personality of local beauty in each locale.
Heidi is pleased and very honored to have been published in local newspapers and to have worked with many local companies. Heidi's Photographs have graced the front page of The Sparta Independent on two separate occasions. Her photographs have also appeared in such newspapers as The Township Journal and The Advertiser News.
Heidi is continually enhancing her technique, and has created a style that truly reflects her love of people and nature through the camera’s eye.
